The Steamers Cup 7 aside High School Gala day will be held on Friday the 26th of February at the Scots school in Albury. The event is now in its fourth year and each year the number of schools and players is increasing. Teams from years 7 and 8, 9 and 10 and years 11 and 12 will play round robin pool games and will battle it out for a spot in the finals which will be played in the afternoon.
Depending on numbers we are also looking at the introduction of girls seven aside competition, which will be exciting! All members and supporters of the club are more than welcome to come along for what promises to be a great day of rugby.
The Steamers Shield, Primary School Gal Day will be held at ‘Murrayfield” on Friday the 6th of May. This year we plan to field teams from as far as field as Holbrook and also continue to grow the profile of rugby union in local primary schools.
